In partnership with MEDEF Marne<\/i>, CNAM Grand Est<\/i>, the city of Reims and the University Sports Federation, the CUBE brings together three groups\u2014businesses, students and the community\u2014around sports: the number one social event for connecting people. On April 3 and 4, teams took part in sporting events and solved business problems drawn at random. For this 3rd edition, CUBE welcomed several teams from local businesses alongside the student teams: a first! <\/span><\/p>\n

To date, the CUBE in Reims remains a pioneering \u201cchallenge,\u201d but there is little doubt that it will soon be copied, as the quality of the responses to the business problems presented by companies were excellent and readily applicable. Rumours circulated during the awards ceremony that several other cities may soon be inspired to hold their own event of the kind.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was such a warm atmosphere and a sincere pleasure to sit on the CUBE 2019 jury. With almost thirty teams participating, it wasn\u2019t easy picking winners\u2026 but it’s also about knowing how to make decisions. <\/span>😊<\/span><\/p>\n

Above all, for me, the CUBE is a perfect event for students to invest themselves and learn through creative experiences. That is why I was also a financial partner and will certainly renew my support next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

I still had room on my agenda after the awards ceremony, but Laurent Duclos (head of university sports for the Grand Est<\/i> League) And Anne-Charlotte Amaury (head of student life at the Reims Sciences-Po<\/i> campus) took care of that… and I gladly accepted their invitation to give a talk on the link between sports and business. My talk \u201cPerformance and Teamwork,\u201d given at Sciences-Po<\/i>, capped off a great day.<\/span><\/p>\n
